Tokyo Disneyland: Attractions

Happy Tuesday Y'all!

I'm talking about Disney again- hope that's all right.

The thing about Tokyo Disneyland- is that it's huge. It's the size of the Florida and California parks- at least I think so. There is tons to do in this park. We were lucky because the park was not busy on Friday and we were able to ride all the rides that were on our list. When we were reading reviews about the park- people told us we were going to have to get to the park an hour before opening and then run to get fast passes to one of the rides and then run across the park and get in line... and then run... So basically a lot of running. It was a little stressful planning this trip, but actually the rainy Friday was perfect for us. No crowds!

Are you ready for a lot of pictures?

World Bazaar aka Main Street

This area was packed I think because of the rain. But we enjoyed walking around and looking in the shops.

Tomorrowland

The first ride we jumped on was Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. Matt was very excited to get to this one. The whole ride was in Japanese, so we didn't understand anything- but it was great. I mean Japanese C3PO- how great! Actually- all the rides are in Japanese, so be prepared for that.

We then jumped in the super fast line for Monsters, Inc Ride & Go Seek! This ride is unique to the Tokyo park, but I think it should be added to Florida- it is so good. It's one of those point and shoot games. There are monsters and flash your flashlight on them. It's a blast. If the park is busy- try to get a fast pass. We did that on Saturday so we could ride it again.

Space Mountain was closed while we were there. But the park also has Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, Star Jets, and Grand Circuit Raceway.

Fantasyland

Another unique ride is Pooh's Hunny Hunt. It's pretty cool because it's a trackless ride. We didn't love the Pooh theme, but the trackless was cool. This is another you would want to get a fastpass for. We didn't have to because there was no line on Friday and once was enough for us.

It's A Small World- I actually love this ride, and this was the best version I've seen.

Haunted Mansion- always one of my favorites.

Alice's Tea Party- Fun Fun Fun.

Fantasyland also has Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Adventures, Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Dumbo The Flying Elephant, and Castle Carrousel.

Toontown

To be honest- we just walked around here on Saturday when the crowds were high and we didn't want to stand in line. But I always really liked taking pictures of this place because it looks so fun.

We rode Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and it was as creepy as ever. Toontown also has Minnie's House, Chip'n Dale's Treehouse, Gadget's Go Coaster, Donald's Boat, Goofy's Paint n' Play House, Toon Park, and Mickey's House where you can meet Mickey.

 {Do you spy Matt in his cute little poncho?}

Critter Country

Home to the wonderful Splash Mountain. They also have Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes.

{Sorry about the picture}

Westernland

Matt shot a perfect score at the Westernland Shootin' Gallery. I was so proud of him, and I think the staff was as well. The girl clapped for him. He got a cute little pin.

To get away from the rain on Saturday we watched the Country Bear Theater show. It was a nice little break.

We also rode Big Thunder Mountain- which was a wonderful adventure in the rain. We couldn't stop laughing as we were being pelted by the rain on the ride. It was so much fun. It's always a of favorite ride of mine. And again no lines!

 You can also ride the Mark Twain Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island Rafts- which I've never done before.

 Adventureland

We were able to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, the Western River Railroad, and watch the Enchanted Tiki Room show. There is also The Swiss Family Treehouse and the Jungle Cruise.

 And that's basically the whole park. I know you could get this information on the park site, but I wanted to write about our days at the park. We did most of the bigger rides on Friday and then caught the smaller stuff on the busier Saturday. We got to the park at about 3:00 pm on Friday and stayed till close. On Saturday we got there about 9:00 and stayed until 9:00.

We had a great time at the park both days. We would return again and next time we would add in Disney Sea as well.
