Love Letters

This little red mailbox has seriously been the most fun ever! If you ever see a little mailbox, I would recommend buying it! 

This mailbox has made the month of February so great. Matt and I both love getting mail and seeing the   love notes. 

Here is a sample of a note Matt wrote me a few days ago: 

Doing this has really ensured our love tanks are full. (Yes, I have been reading the 5 Languages of Love.) I am all for doing small things to keep the love alive, and this mailbox has done this. 

I am happy I went with my instinct to buy it when I saw it in Target.

Nothing Beats Getting Mail

Every holiday for as long as I can remember, my Grandma Fahey has sent me a card. 

Just a little note to say hello. And I can't really remember her being late with these cards. 

This holiday was no different- I went to the mailbox today and I got this.

I thought I would share with you. Now go mail someone special a card- cause nothing beats getting mail.

"Hoo" Will be my Valentine?

The other day I came across this Valentine treat from the blog My Owl Barn. 

I thought these were so cute, and I knew I needed to make them. 

And they looked really easy to make. And they are... if you are on the mainland and can find all these supplies easily. But if you are in Hawaii, it is not that easy. 

We went to 4 different stores just to make these cute owl treats! And we couldn't even find a couple- we had to improvise!

What do you think? I wish I had the Necco wafers and the yellow Moon Pies, but I had to use what I had. 

I don't think they turned out too bad, but to be honest with you... Moon Pies are gross! 

Love is in the Air

I picked up this little guy at Hobby Lobby when I was in Georgia over Christmas break. I thought he would be a perfect addition to our family. 

Matt loves him! 

Happy One Month Baby Eli

Eli is one month today! We had our first Skype date and I think it was love at first Skype.

When I was in Georgia back in October, I found this beauty in a local store. 

And I knew I needed to have it. Well, I knew my future nephew/ niece needed to have this. At this point, I didn't know if the baby was going to be a boy or girl, so I had to take a chance and just buy it. 

Luckily, I did because this is what happened:
