Seoul Lantern Festival

A few weeks ago, Matt and I took a trip up to Seoul for the annual lantern festival. We had been going back and forth on whether we wanted to make the trip, and at the last minute we decided to go up. I am so happy we made the decision to go. The lanterns were absolutely amazing.

 {Baekje Envoy Ship}

 {Baekje's Government Rank System and Uniform- Those in blue are higher ranking.}

 {Chiljido being present in Japan- Chiljido is a type of sword}

 {Baekje Patterns and Sumaksae- These were my favorite lanterns. Sumaksae is a type of roof tile. I wish we could have taken more pictures, but the people were rushing us through this tunnel.}

Matt and I had such a blast at this Lantern Festival. There were tons of people, but it was worth it.

    1. Chantal, It's a great festival. There were food vendors all along the street. It was crowded, but not too bad.
